Topological Data Analysis of Genetic Regulatory Circuits
We apply topological data analysis (TDA) to 108 genetic regulatory circuits from GLMP. Each circuit is represented as a Mermaid Markdown flowchart derived from textual process descriptions. The most persistent H1 loops align with known feedback circuits (lac operon, two-component signaling, SOS, stringent response, and related systems), suggesting that TDA on structural features captures genuine regulatory architecture.
